Combat Arms

By: KillaKlown

Experience thrilling battles online with up to 15 of your friends in dense jungles, frozen tundra, industrial wastelands and more. Similar to Counter-Strike and Battlefield, Combat Arms is a tactical first-person shooter. The game features six game play modes, including: Elimination, Search and Destroy, One Man Army, Capture the Flag, Spy Hunt, and Snowball Fight.

Graphics and game play are great, even though the game has low system requirements (good news for a lot of the cheaper gamers out there, plus it's free you assholes get on it) Many weapons and player skins to choose from, meaning this FPS game is highly customizable without having to install skins yourself. The initial set up is kind of complicated but once you are set with your controls you're ready to kick asses and take names.

The game is free to play, but you are able to purchase non-permanent items such as scopes, silencers and grenades, not a big deal if you don't buy anything, plenty of free stuff to equip and they don't really give you any advantage. I highly recommend this game to anyone who likes to play online first-person shooters (I assume most of you do anyway aha). The game which is largely underrated has quite the dedicated fan base.

As stated before Combat Arms is highly customizable. Players can choose what their soldiers carry into battle, whether it be what their wearing, or what weapons they're using. Such a wide variety of modifications to choose from, silencers scopes, extended magazines, and more. There's no real imbalance between paying and non-paying players. There are no "uber weapons" available for cash; cash purchases are items of convenience and aesthetic changes.

Combat Arms is easy to get the hang of (really which FPS game isn't?), yet for the veteran players, there's still depth to the game. There's an experience system for players who win matches and get kills, players are rewarded with in-game currency as well. Both allow players to get higher ranks and unlock new items, weapons, and gear helpful for combat.

The clan feature of Combat Arms is a lot more centered around the game play than certain FPS shooters. Community features are available, players can recruit, manage, and communicate with their clan members throughout the game. All entirely, through the game. Players can make profiles as well, so they can track their experience and even have the opportunity to see their ranks within the Combat Arms world. Some of the best news that easily attracts new players is the fact the game is free and is played with low system requirements. Anyway, back to the clan system. Once your rank is Staff Sergeant you can create your own clan. Clans can easily keep in contact and arrange matches. Clan members can even share NX points, the in-game currency.

So there you have it. I hope to see you in game as I do recommend this game to everyone who enjoys similar games like COUNTER-STRIKE. Highly customizable, highly social interactive, highly enjoyable. Lots of different game modes to choose from. Like almost every other free-to-play game they do offer points to purchase, and you can buy many different items, none of which will give players an insane advantage over each other though. So for those going in hoping to not spend a dime can easily do so. So get on it people, I've provided a quick video just to show the game play.
